One person told me that a lethal mistake in making fantrolls is to include them with the canon.
Well for the HS fandom, unless you want your fantroll to die, you will have to include them interacting with the canon once. They’d have to speak with Aradia or Sollux and form some kind of bond with them in order to get a copy of SGRUB to survive the Vast Glub and to access some means of survival after the destruction of their planet.
I believe including canon characters is okay as long as they are not changed from their original personality.

Homestuck, it’s a fandom of black and white no pun intended. I am recently new to it. As I was going through the posts, laughing and finding emotional pictures I came across this one here:

Now that I think about it, I started my relationship with my boyfriend the day I started reading Homestuck. We laugh and snort jokes over our “patron trolls”. He’s a Taurus and I am Libra… It’s strange, awkward moments have provided me entertainment during cold weather days.
It’s helped me develop ideas for a novel I thought I would never be interested in writing again.
It’s brought something up. I’ve met new friends and have had a generous amount of giggles along the way.
